The main difference of this kind of car insurance over the previous one is that not only does it cover the damages inflicted by your car but it also covers the damages of your car and your property. However, the collision insurance only covers “collisions” with vehicles and does not cover accidents involving animals.

The third type on insurance is the comprehensive insurance. It covers almost all aspects regarding automobile damage, collision coverage and range hazards; like fire and theft.

In some countries, the common accidents encountered by motorists are those which involve animals; such as moose and deer. Also things like vandalism and damage from the weather are quite usual. All of these fall into the miscellaneous category of car insurance. This type deals with covering other risks that the car may be involved in.

The more specific you want your insurance to be, the more expensive it will cost. Before you consider any insurance policies, you may as well do a little research on you own.
